Well we are finally doing our studio snick snaks and working with probably the most amazing person to ever cross our humble path. Fernando Perdigao is one of South Africa's most amazing Engineer and very well know in the South African music industry as well as internationally respected. How this miracle happened for us we are still not sure but we do feel extremely blessed. So far we have spend two weeks at the studio mostly after hours. We have started laying down some template "scratch" tracks and will pretty soon be ripping them to shreds and reconstruct them into some amazing songs. As you know we write from the heart and we hope that our feelings and passion towards our music will come through on our tracks. We are in the best hands and have full faith in Fernando and his magic ears.
We also took part in the Durex Ultimate Battle of the Bands last night at Mercury. A very disappointing night for us. It made me reflect on the following quote I found on the net.
"Don't let someone become a priority in your life when you're just an option in theirs"...
We will now only focus on Cold Hand Chemistry and will not be playing any more battle of the bands or do any of those vote to play a festival bull shit. We will not be doing marketing for venues and events to save them money in their marketing budget. The main thing is to make music and to get you guys to love and enjoy it.
Anyway thats my update on behalf of Cold Hand Chemistry, we will be keeping you updated with phodies and all.
